Sponsorship Benefits

Sponsorship Benefits
The Celebration is funded by sponsorship by Industry, Government and Universities/Colleges.   Becoming a sponsor of the Celebration affords your organization the opportunity to:

  • Influence and attract tomorrow’s computing professionals
  • Showcase your commitment to diversity
  • Provide opportunities for your technical women to develop leadership, mentor and network
  • Participate in the career fair
  • Promote your organization’s needs
  • Strengthen relationships with participating universities, scope out potential collaborations
  • Support a program that improves the climate for the sector at large
  • Academic Sponsorship - recruit Graduate Students

CAN-CWIC is made possible by our sponsors.   All funds are used to support student participation.  For a very low price, students are invited to attend the banquet, take in all the presentations, panels, workshops, participate by giving talks, presenting posters, network with other attendees, attend the career fair.  Thanks to our sponsors we are able to provide all of this plus overnight accommodation, and in many cases, transportation.

"On the first day I was separated from my group. I ended up at the table with the representatives from Company X. They were amazing! The whole time I was sitting next to the VP of Technology and had no idea. She was inspiring, approachable and gave amazing advice. Furthermore, the recruiters at the table gave us amazing advice on how to to structure our careers. They gave us tips on how to navigate this male-dominated industry with tact and skill. They way the spoke to us and the Company X culture they shared made me really want to join their company."
